Overview
You paste a paragraph or import a document, highlight the passage you want illustrated, and Napkin offers several visual treatments—process flows, mind maps, comparison graphics, timelines or data charts—that you can then restyle color by color. Everything stays editable, so labels, icons and layout can be adjusted after generation, and brand styles keep a set of visuals consistent. A slides feature in beta extends the same idea to whole decks, and an API exists for teams that want to generate visuals inside their own workflows. Free accounts get a weekly credit allowance with Napkin branding, while Plus and Pro raise monthly credits, unlock vector and PowerPoint exports and remove the watermark. Limitation: credits are spent roughly per word selected, so long documents drain the free allowance fast, and advanced outputs may cost more credits than plain diagrams. Check generated charts against the source numbers before publishing.
