Voice & audio

Speechify

Speechify turns written material into spoken audio so people can listen while commuting, studying or resting their eyes. Users open a Chrome or Edge extension, mobile app or desktop client, paste or import documents, and follow highlighted text while a voice reads at a chosen speed; a scan-and-listen mode can work from a photo of a page. The company also markets accessibility benefits for people who find extended reading tiring. Free accounts can try core listening with a small set of basic voices and capped speed; Premium expands the voice library, languages and top speed and unlocks richer listening features. Limitation: free listening is intentionally constrained (basic voices and lower max speed), and Speechify is a reader—not a full audiobook studio or team dubbing tool. Organizations that need shared libraries or SSO should confirm whether Premium alone is enough or whether a business offering is required.

Limitations

Free accounts are limited to basic voices and lower playback speeds (our listing records up to about 1.5x on free versus much higher on Premium); power users typically need Premium.

"Not listed" means the official page shows no list price for that billing period (often contact sales). We never fill gaps from third-party sites.
