Overview
Inside the app you can run commands as usual or hand a task to Warp's agent, which can edit code, run tests and propose changes using models from several providers; the same agent works in any shell through a CLI. Cloud agents and the newer Factories product let teams run many agents across code review, bug reproduction, migrations and incident response, with integrations into Slack, Linear and GitHub. The client source is public under AGPL-3.0. The free tier keeps the terminal and lets you bring your own inference, while Build, Max and Business bundle a monthly agent allowance priced at API rates. Limitation: allowances are spent like a budget, so long agent sessions can exhaust them and trigger add-on charges unless an admin sets a spend cap. Agent changes still need review before merge.
